Update 10/14/11 - We are shutting down our Home Harvest program for this season. Thank you to all who participated. If you have any suggestions regarding the program or how we can expand it please comment here or contact us through the contact form.

We have an exciting new program starting at church – Home Harvest!

Home Harvest is a simple and easy way to share the bounty of your garden with your faith family. A great way for people who can’t or don’t garden to be able to partake of the local bounty. And allows home gardeners to have access to a greater variety of fresh produce.

On Sunday morning home gardeners simply bring in their excess fruits and vegetables and place them on the designated table in the parlor. Anyone can take what they need from the table – gardeners and non-gardeners alike. Any produce leftover on Sunday will be donated to the Healthy Food Pantry at the Barnett Center.

How easy is that? So share the love and share your harvest – so that our whole church family has some access to fresh produce.
