Riverfront Outreach

*****Next Outreach Event – Saturday, February 23nd, 8:30am t0 10:00am ***** Matthew Shank is hosting for the month.

First Congregational  joins with other service organizations for their weekly outreach to Huntington’s homeless population. We provide fruit, single-serve snack items, and words of encouragement to those who gather at the riverfront each week.

Everyone is invited to join us  - no RSVP required. Suggested items are fruits such as oranges, apples, and bananas and single-serving items such as granola bars, boxes of raisins, cookie or cracker sandwiches. Fresh fruit is our primary item as many underserved people do not have access to such items. If you have any questions please contact a Peace and Social Justice Team member.
