A Very Sordid Evening will bring you WV's EXCLUSIVE showing of Del Shores newest Sordid offering, "A Very Sordid Wedding."
In addition, prior to the film, there will be an expert panel on Marriage Equality including Legal, Activist, and Religious viewpoints at 6:45.
The film will start promptly at 7:30 in the beautiful 4th Ave Arts facility. Once home to the Camelot Theater, the equipment has all been updated and the theater preserved. You will get a true 'Big Screen' experience.

In addition, there will be some great door prizes given away and a pre-show cocktail hour as well as an after party to be announced!

About the Film:
A Very Sordid Wedding deals with the questions, concerns, bigotry and fallout of what happens when marriage equality comes to a small Texas town where not everyone is ready to accept it. Creator Del Shores’ uses his trademark comedy and the beloved characters from his cult smash hit Sordid Lives and Sordid Lives: The Series to deal with these important current social issues and the very real process of accepting your family for who they are instead of who you want them to be.
It's 2015, seventeen years after family matriarch Peggy tripped over G.W.’s wooden legs in Sordid Lives, and life has moved into the present for the residents of Winters, Texas. In the wake of the Supreme Court decision in favor of marriage equality, the Sordid saga continues. An anniversary memorial service is being planned in honor of Peggy at the bar while the Southside Baptist Church is planning an "Anti-Equality Rally" to protest the advancement of same-sex marriage. Both events are to take place on the same night, so the beloved cast of colorful characters are all on a collision course for shenanigans and fireworks at the church and everyone’s favorite bar on the big night. Along the way a bisexual serial killer shows up, a drag queen country medley gets performed and a beauty salon versus the bigots battle turns getting your hair done into the front lines of the equality battle. Friendships are tested and families are reunited as fear and bigotry are confronted with acceptance and understanding on the way to a surprise wedding with (almost) everyone in attendance.
